No road is ever made except that someone, at sometime, walks it.
They may be alone – and others follow – or go together.
But the path does not make itself. We must be prepared to put one foot in front of another. To go into unknown territory.
Or we can choose to follow in the footsteps of others and make the path a road.
Or we can choose to stand still.
Today: what will I choose?
“…the road is made by walking…” is translated from the Spanish poem Compos de Castilla, (1912) by Antonio Machardo
